As a Technical Product Manager at Valorem Reply, you are a strategic consultant, working with your customers to understand their business, their current problems, and their future opportunities. You have demonstrated the ability to see the “Big Picture”, driving positive changes within your customer’s organization and building trust along the way. You are a liaison between your customer’s product vision and the agile delivery teams, ensuring that teams understand the product roadmap and vision.

Responsibilities

  • Consultant for our clients: Collaborate with clients and their stakeholders to understand client problems, goals and needs provide guidance on product decisions
  • Own the product vision: Identify solutions that delight our customers and solve their problems
  • Define solutions: Use customer interviews, workshops, journey maps, personas, business cases, use cases, business process analysis, user feedback, and analytics to define solutions
  • Own the product backlog: Use architectural and backlog thinking to organize, harmonize, critically evaluate, decompose, and simplify business needs into a set of prioritized, understandable, and technology agnostic epics, features, and user stories with acceptance criteria that enables the agile team to deliver the maximum product value at the right time
  • Manage change: Help our clients understand the impact of changes to the product backlog. Negotiate changing priorities to ensure that the team continues to deliver value while maximizing the product capabilities requested by the client
  • Implement, Test, and Iterate: Evaluate the effectiveness of solutions to ensure solutions delight customers and solve problems
  • Work hand in hand with technical teams: Consultant for highly technical projects and clients, requiring knowledge of software engineering concepts and latest technology trends
  • Minimum Requirements

  • 5 years working as an agile product owner or product manager
  • 3 years engineering experience using modern technologies within the Microsoft ecosystem
  • 3 years consulting experience
  • 3 years using design thinking to solve customer problems
  • 3 years leading client facing workshops to identify and ideate on user needs
  • Bachelor's/master’s degree, preferred in Engineering or Computer Science
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO)
  • Safe Product Owner and Product Manager (POPM)
  • PMI Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBI)
  • AZ900 certification
  • Experience collaborating with a UX designer to generate UI mockups/wireframe
